This family had been more than a week without having any food. The mother named Harzarah Kahton and her son Abdul Munuf (11 years old) died on the afternoon of 20 March 2016.
They are from Rohingya, Muslims from Natchaung Village, Pautaw Township, Rakhine State. The government does not recognize them as refugees. They live without shelter and without any access to medical treatment. There are an estimated 8600 Rohingya Muslim refugees in Pautaw these days with serious food shortages that are starving.
