Tempered glass would not work for a lid on a terrarium, correct? Your windshield is tempered glass meaning it's 2 pieces of glass tempered together with a clear vinyl...which blocks harmful uv rays. That would mean my light won't work unless it's inside the tank in doubt the lights are mist proof. I'm putting a lid on top of my display case terrarium and was thinking I could just put the light on top of the bar...it would be fine. We'll the glass people said it has to be tempered looked it up and it doesn't look good. I don't know if acrylic would work...the good rays really won't penetrate through, will they? I'm trying to keep it simple so it's not way too much work lol..Yeah in know this kinda thing just isn't simple. So yeah the terrarium is the bar itself. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with the back either, it doesn't have glass. And how many fans should I install?
A few more Pic's to give you some idea of size and species available. Post more later !! Thanks!
